Privacy Policy – Fit & Fabulous 50+

Fit & Fabulous 50+ ("the app") is offered by Raju Dhariwal, D.D.S. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains, in plain words, how the app handles your information.
We do not collect your data
The app does not collect, store on any server, sell or share your personal information. There is no account, no advertising and no tracking. We do not use analytics or third-party tracking tools.
Everything stays on your iPhone
All processing, including meal photo analysis, ingredient recognition, voice input (on supported iPhones) and recipe suggestions, happens on your device. The details you enter (such as height, age, weight, goal, meals, water and favorites) are saved only on your phone. Deleting the app removes this information.
Apple Health (HealthKit)
With your permission, the app reads (read-only) steps, weight, heart rate, sleep, active calories, workouts and distance from Apple Health, including data that wearables such as Garmin or Oura share with Apple Health. This data is used only to show your activity and progress and to tailor your daily targets inside the app. HealthKit data never leaves your device, is never used for advertising or marketing, and is never sold or shared with anyone. You can change this permission at any time in the Health app or in Settings.
Camera, photos, microphone and speech
- Camera: to take a photo of your meal or ingredients.
- Photo Library: to choose an existing photo you select.
- Microphone and Speech Recognition: to let you describe a meal by voice with "Tell me more" or the Cook with what I have microphone.
On iPhones that support on-device speech recognition, your voice is turned into text on your phone. On iPhones without on-device speech support, voice input is processed by Apple's speech recognition service under Apple's privacy policy. Fit & Fabulous 50+ itself does not collect or store your recordings. You can always type instead.
Photos and recordings are processed on your device and are not uploaded. Each permission is optional and can be turned off in Settings.
Children
The app is designed for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Future features
If we ever add an optional photo-analysis feature that uses an online service, we will clearly describe it, update this policy, and ask for your consent before any photo leaves your phone. Nothing will be sent without your permission.
Not medical advice
The app provides general wellness information only and is not medical advice. Please talk with your doctor before changing your diet or exercise routine.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
